Created in 2007 supported by a Higher Education Funding Council (HEFCE) grant, The Institute of Knowledge Transfer promotes the transfer of knowledge to those that need it.
Membership of the Institute provides professional recognition for those working in innovation, knowledge transfer, applied research and commercialisation, entrepreneurship and enterprise.
The Institute participates in applied research and commercialisation collaborations, particularly international ones.
